Our company was originally founded in 1948 as Yakima County Credit Service, Inc. Sheila Burns purchased the agency in 1976 and steadily extended our services to the larger Pacific Northwest region and across the United States. In 1987 the name was changed to YCCS - A National Collection System, reflecting our growth.

YCCS Corporate Office is located in Yakima. We serve our clients with integrity, contribute to our communities through a variety of associations, and strive to positively represent our industry by maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and service.

YCCS Collection Staff
Every employee at YCCS receives instruction in the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) to ensure complete understanding of federal laws governing collection agencies. FDCPA regulations are designed to prevent abusive, deceptive, and unfair debt collection practices.
In addition, all YCCS collectors must successfully complete intensive training prior to collecting on any account. This training thoroughly develops the skills necessary to identify debt profiles and find solutions for consumers' debt problems.

With this extensive education and training, YCCS collectors have proven themselves to be dedicated and efficient at helping our clients recover their lost dollars. Our collectors are committed to securing the largest amount possible while remaining polite and professional at all times.

Shonna Stroud,
Vice President
Shonna has been with YCCS since 1997. She started her career as a filer and has worked her way through all of the departments and is now leading our team at YCCS as the Vice President of the company. Through the years she has worked through all of departments in our office gaining knowledge, skills and the tools to bring together all of the team members in the office in a cohesive manner. Her passion for the collection industry and the desire to make sure the client is satisfied and the consumer is treated fair but firmly makes her a integral part of the team. Shonna prides herself on accuracy. Her experience and dedication to our employees, clients, and consumers makes her an incredible asset to our team and has led our staff to be our best.
